Whereas Western civil society is based on humanism, individualism, pluralism, rationality, instrumentalism, secularism, liberalism, and democracy; Therefore, there is no agreement between the two societies;<br>In components and values; Concepts such as: human dignity, sovereignty, the need for government, legitimacy, separation of powers, citizen participation, rule of law, justice, freedom, equality, rationality, democracy, the duties and powers of rulers, the duties and powers of the people , in western civil society and velaei society , which are apparently common but quite different in content and often contradictory.<br>This difference and contradiction is due to the attitude of both societies towards the world and man and the origin and resurrection. در دنیای امروز؛ لیبرال دموکراسی حاکم بر جوامع غربی و تقابل آن با جامعه اسلامی یا جامعه ولایی، مهمترین چالش نظام حکومتی اسلام به شمار می‌رود. در این میان عده-ای در داخل کشورمان به دنبال تحقق جامعه مدنی در ایران هستند و عده‌ای با آن مخالفند و آن را مخالف و یا متضاد با فرهنگ و ارزش‌های جامعه دینی می‌دانند؛ این تحقیق، با هدف کشف شباهت‌ها و تفاوت‌های جامعه ولایی و جامعه مدنی غرب، مبانی، اصول و شاخصه‌های اصلی جامعه‌ ولایی (از دیدگاه اندیشمندان مسلمان شیعه) و جامعه مدنی غرب، (از دیدگاه اندیشمندان سیاسی غرب) را بررسی و نتایج زیر را حاصل نموده است: جامعه ولایی از نظر مبانی هیچ توافقی با جامعه مدنی غربی ندارد. در مؤلفه‌ها و ارزش‌ها نیز؛ مفاهیمی مشترک در هر دو جامعه وجود دارد، لکن این مفاهیم، درحد اشتراک‌ لفظی است و از لحاظ محتوایی کاملا متفاوت می‌باشند. این تفاوت‌ها، ناشی از نگرش هر دو جامعه نسبت به جهان و انسان و مبداء و معاد است. https://avj.smc.ac.ir/article_696710_fbe593615fd5b7fc051bf8528cbf5a46.pdf
